General Information

• Season runs November 17, 2025 - March 1, 2025
• Practices are held on weeknights at Perry Hall High School (M, W, Th 6:30-8pm)
• Competitions are Saturday/Sunday at various locations across county/state
• The calendar on the website will have the most up-to-date schedule (go to Upcoming Events tab)
• Parents are responsible for providing practice clothing (tight fitting t-shirt and shorts)
• Parents are responsible for providing wrestling shoes and headgear
• Competition singlets will be provided
• Online store will be available for spirit wear purchases

Practice Information

• Initial practice schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30-8pm
• Wrestling shoes are not to be worn outside
• Practices are held at Perry Hall High School, Activity Room – this is located on the back side of the building by the athletic field.  Entrance is Door 19
• Upon arrival at practice, parents should sign wrestlers in and provide contact name and phone number if dropping off (see Joanna)
• Prior to entering the wrestling room, wrestlers will change their shoes and street shoes will be left in hallway
  
• Street shoes are not allowed on the wrestling mats (this applies to adults entering the room as well)
• Parent meeting will held the first week of practice. Date and time will be announced via the website

Competition information

• Perry Hall Jr. Wrestling participates in the Upper Chesapeake Wrestling League.  Our competition schedule includes roll arounds, novice, and competitive tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season
• UCWL events are generally structured with Elementary wrestling in the morning and Middle School wrestling in the afternoon
• Cost for UCWL events is included with your program registration fee
• UCWL events are held at participating teams facilities throughout the state
• We will also attend “flyer events” which are tournaments outside of the UCWL
• Flyer events are self registered and paid for by parents.  Coaches will be staffed at these events based on the number of wrestlers participating
• Flyer events are optional
